Natural Hair Loss Because of Birth Control?
Many people are concerned about hair loss but this is especially the case whenever we noticed the fact that our hair is falling out at an accelerated rate. Everybody loses hair on a daily basis and it is simply a matter of the cycle of hair growth which causes the hair to eventually fall out in order to allow new hair to grow. This period of time can last anywhere from two to six years, depending on the individual but there may be times whenever we notice that our hair is falling out much faster than what it is growing again.
Believe it or not, not all hair loss is due to the fact that we have genetic issues that we are dealing with. There are times whenever the hormones within our body cause us to see an accelerated hair loss that can cause of some alarm. This is not only true with men but in many cases, women can also experience the same problems with hair loss and all of the stress that goes along with it. This can be as a result of the normal cycle that a woman goes through on a monthly basis but it can also be accelerated because of hormone imbalances that are caused by taking birth control pills.
The human body is an amazingly balanced machine and whenever there are not any problems within that balance, things tend to run rather smoothly. Birth control pills work on a hormonal level in order to stop the female body from producing an egg on a monthly basis. The unfortunate thing is, those hormones can also cause of women’s hair to fall out in some cases. Whenever this is the case, there are very few things that you can do other than stopping the birth control that you are taking, under a doctor’s supervision, or switching the birth control that you are taking.
It might also be possible to naturally balance out the hormones within the body, even if you are throwing them off balance as a result of taking birth control. For example, our diet controls the hormones within the body to a large extent and by eating properly, we have more of a balance within ourselves, overall. The same is also true about getting exercise on a daily basis and whenever we do so, we may be able to tip the scales in our favor. These are some natural things which can be done if you are having a problem with hair loss due to birth control.
