Scalp Infections and Hair Loss
It can be one of the more frustrating thing is that we have to deal with, watching the sink fill up with hair as we are brushing it in the morning. At times, there is nothing really for you to worry about at all as it is a natural thing for us to lose the hair on a daily basis. This has a lot to do with the hair growth cycle that all of us experience this as the hair enters into a resting phase, and eventually falls out after a few months. The problem is, there may be times whenever the hair loss is accelerated and it is not being repopulated with new follicles.
Whatever you experience these problems, it may not be a difficulty with genetic issues as many people will be quick to say. Male and female pattern baldness is certainly an issue that the majority of people who are losing their hair have to deal with and there are very few natural things that can be done in order to stop this. The unfortunate thing is, many of us that are dealing with hair loss are dealing with it for reasons other than genetic issues and these are totally preventable. A good example of this is if you have a scalp infection.
One of the most common types of scalp infections which is responsible for hair loss is caused by a fungus. Often, it is difficult to identify this kind of a problem but if it is an issue, it is one that can be treated naturally. Many times, simply applying some herbal treatments, such as tea tree oil can help to reduce the fungus to the point where your hair loss will be minimized. You may also want to try a mixture of olive oil and oregano, as these also have natural anti-fungal properties to them.
The unfortunate thing is, many individuals try to treat a fungal scalp infection by going to the doctor and getting a cream. This may be effective in helping to reduce the amount of fungus that you have in the area but the reality of it is, it is only really killing the less aggressive fungi in the infection. Should the fungus happen to return, it will do so stronger and it will be more difficult to treat the next time around. This can lead to additional hair loss and a real problem with treating the infection permanently.
